A friend and I saw Mount Eerie and Nick Krgovich at an Eastern Oregon grange hall last night. It was a great high-point of a small 800 mile road trip from the Willamette Valley. So, I recorded the Mount Eerie portion with my Canon on a tripod and the video file is just over a gig (and almost 40 minutes). I had to set the video quality a bit lower in order to have room on the sd card (but the audio is good). Where should I upload this so everyone can see it (not sure if it's too big for Youtube)? It was an amazing performance.
Set-list: 1. House Shape 2. Between Two Mysteries 3. Ancient Questions 4. No Inside, No Out 5. "The Place I Live" (I think he called this song "Don't Touch My Stuff" at a Portland show back in March.) 6. Lone Bell 7. unknown ("Watching the light change...") 8. Log In The Waves 9. Stone's Ode
There were only about six people there, including us, who weren't in one of the bands! An awesome venue, too. Just a magical experience in the middle of "the desert" (as Western Oregonians would call it). Pouring rain outside, next to the grand Wallowa Mountains.
Also, as a side note... if you haven't given Nick a listen yet... the guy is simply phenomenal. I recorded only one of the songs he sang (small sd card): a perfect cover of Jim Reeves' "He'll Have To Go." I can upload that somewhere, too.

Hey! We put on that show! It was great! We played (probably at an inappropriate volume) before Nick and I had some art hanging up. Thanks for coming all that way! We actually got a pretty good audio recording of Mt. Eerie's set (we wanted to record Nick's set but forgot to turn on the shit). I'll post it after we get it EQ'd and split up..
Maybe we could borrow some video files from you so we could sync it up with our recording? Or would we do just as well ripping from youtube?

The audio quality is great - thanks a lot for taping this. If someone could rip just the audio and separate the tracks that would be superb!

This video (and the set, of course) is fantastic. Thank you for sharing!

Brandon! You rock! Thanks a ton for this. Would it be too much trouble to post an mp3 of NK doing "He'll Have To Go" for us here? I've been listening to your youtube video on repeat - so goddamn pretty. I am stupidly excited for the new No Kids album to finally come out.
