Hi,
this is actually the Karl Blau of ye olde Microphones referenced song and yeah, one third of D+ and I have my own thing goin. Anyways, I had a chance encounter via email with someone who I think may be on this board somewhere who steered me this direction. I have been getting rid of material things in order to provide things like food and a roof for my family and myself. And I came upon these test pressings and old Microphone releases from K and the likes and a bunch of Mount Eerie stuff. I hope this is the right place for this and I trust someone will let me know if it's not.
Personally I am still on the cusp of just barely making it as an artist who has to constantly drum up work in between tours. If you have any friends doing music, then you probably know the story! Phil is an anomaly in this regard, he just always had a sense for the business of it all. Anyways anyways...
Here are the records I'm letting go, I don't know what they would be worth, I just figure the right people will help me part with them in the right way. So I guess just get in touch with me over the next few days and let me know if any of these speak to you.
I have on vinyl
Singers original test pressing
It Was Hot We Stayed In the Water - K release original test pressing
Mount Eerie by microphones original test pressing from K
Black wooden ceiling opening original and repress
Little bird flies into a big back cloud
Dances with Wolves by mount eerie
The Glow pt. 2 original press
Dont wake me up original press
Live in Copenhagen Mount Eerie 3 record set
Mount Eerie original by Microphones stitched sleeve
Dawn by Mount Eerie
Song Islands - pw elverum and sun
All of these the records themselves are in perfect shape but some of the sleeves have discoloration from being smoke damaged from the fire at my studio in December 2015 (which is now where the Business record store is in town!).
OK, thanks, I think I will put pics of the albums themselves in this folder: drive.google.com/open?id=147WIqGa7vL9a4SkMCFwa8AWPTYW_KNjx
