I went to "SINGLES GOING STEADY" which had some really good punk stuff, worth going to i think!

easy street records over by the space needle is the best one I've been too, but I haven't done any deep crate digging in seattle yet, really.

yeah i love sonic boom in ballard. a lot of the time they have stuff easy street doesn't. also both sonic boom and easy street have free poster boxes next to the door, that's where i got my adrian orange and her band poster.
the best place for used vinyl is bop street records
there's silver platters a few blocks away from the easy street in queen anne, best place for cds.
and wall of sound in capitol hill for rare noise/experimental type music
i wouldn't go to singles going steady unless you're really into punk as that's pretty much all they have, and a lot of it!

Note: i usually just buy used/dig:
i've been pretty lucky at jive time (new location a half block south of neumo's on capitol hill) and one block north of the OLD sonic boom in fremont.
I have never found a good record a easy street west seattle.
i used to go to easy street queen anne 3+ times a week last year, but they no longer have a permanent vinyl buyer/pricer. the guy who does pricing just does 95% of what things went on ebay last week (whereas before, i consistently found $30-50 records for 8 bucks).
Sonic boom is getting better (in ballard and capitol hill). they were weak for a long time. they now know that "little bird" is worth more than $12, but they still go about 75% ebay prices, and drop their "wall" item prices over time.
neptune records has great digging to be done (in University district). Del's DJ just dropped off a bunch of stuff and i came in right after, the pricer looks up every record and grades it/knows the printing, but is still rational, and not crazy ebay prices.
I also go to cellophane square in U district, and have had mild luck.
