Hey everybody, I recently tried to purchase a pretty rare split cassette featuring songs from Thee Moths and Adrian Orange as Thanksgiving, but the label owner informed me that the cassettes were sold out and unavailable for purchase. However, he was nice enough to share the tracks with me via email and I thought some of you Thanksgiving fans would be interested in hearing them. Here’s the link to my Mediafire folder: www.mediafire.com/?hqxo8g935ucovThe tracklisting is as follows: 01 - hold on old world 02 - west hills 03 - the southern pumper 04 - lightning crashes (live cover) Chris (the guy who runs Undereducated) also gave me a little info about how the sessions happened in the first place, “When Adrian came over to England back in 2005 we booked a few shows for him and got to hang out quite a lot whilst he was here. We ended up getting together and recording the songs on the tape through a really awful cassette recorder in my friend's dining room.” Anyway, I thought we could all use some “new” Adrian tracks while we’re waiting for Mr. Orange to return to his former glory. Hope you enjoy!

The only other Adrian tracks I can't seem to track down are "Last Week" and "You Are Now I Love You" from the 7 e.p. version of Adrian Orange and Her Band. If you have either, I would love to grab them from you. If not, thank you anyway for the offer!

Hey woolymammoth - excuse the delay; I don't check this site too often. Here's a link with the two Japanese bonus tracks you were looking for, as well as every other compilation track Adrian ever put to tape (to my knowledge - I'd love to know if there's anything else I'm missing). Some of those early comp. tracks ("Grandfather Dawn" and "Growing Up" especially) are some of his best, so any other Thanksgiving fans, take note, remember the good ol' days, break bread, give thanks, etc.: www.mediafire.com/?3c818i1spil0vgv

Halcyon, you are the best! I just got back from being out of town and these tracks were a welcome surprise, so thank you. I also came home to the new Adrian CD-R from Hawaii that Marriage Records was pimping a few weeks ago...it's sold out already, so I figure it's cool to post a link for the sole decent song from the collection. For anyone who was curious, the CD-R is yet another set of aimless electro-jams with a few hastily recorded covers tacked on at the end. Screwed again. However, I did find track 14 to be redeeming in a weird way...the melody is something the "old" Adrian would have busted out, but it's run through his “new” filter. I threw it up on my Media Fire page, in case anyone wants it: www.mediafire.com/myfiles.php#tyde2cype7dty

That sounds like an interesting track woolymammoth but i can't get your link to work.. it just directs me to the mediafire homepage, is there another link you could use? thanks for putting it up anyway. Also, while people are kindly sharing rare tracks by adrian does anyone have a version of this song: vimeo.com/35108677 someone mentioned in another thread that there is a version of it on a what the heck fest live bootleg? It sounds like a lovely track and I actually really like the roughness of that version on vimeo but would be cool to hear it in another form. on the video it seems to be called Mt Eerie, sounds like a bit of an answer song to phil's Thanksgiving do you guys think?

It doesn't work for me either. I think the problem is that the link is leading to your "My Files" page which you are able to access since you are (I'm assuming) logged in. So, maybe click on the file and then link the page that comes up from there?
