Hey guys, I actually created that site and I just launched another one for Phil's lyrics: mounteerierevealed.weebly.com/I feel like I've been working on these two forever...If anyone has any corrections or additions, please let me know. I think the only thing I'm missing is the FIB compilation tracks, which I’ve never actually heard and can’t seem to find anywhere. If anyone has access to those, please pm me and I'll do my best to get them up. Anyway, hope you all like it!

I just recently discovered this forum and the lyrics site. I saw many many Thanksgiving shows back in 2004-2006 in PDX and used to transcribe all of his lyrics myself to a Word doc. I passed them on to Curtis a long time ago when there was talk of a book of lyrics. He and Adrian were blown away that someone would go to such great lengths. I appreciate seeing them on the site. I miss those days. Here are the lyrics from a rare Thanksgiving track. It's found on Flotsam-N-Jetsam: What-The-Heckfest Sampler 2005; Kelp Monthly #19. The liner notes from this CD set do not reveal much info, in fact the track is simply labeled SONG (most likely it's untitled)... Every other song title on the comp appears in quotes except for the Thanksgiving track and the Watery Graves track (turns out to be an alternate take of 'That White Man Rowing'). The song itself is pretty fantastic... echoed vocals with guitar and piano (most likely Curtis Knapp), building to some deep thudding 'No Flashlight-esque' drums. I'm not going to post the track itself since it's still available in digital form here: www.theconnextion.com/whattheheckfest/whattheheckfest_index.cfmSONG My hands turn to mice / my watery eyes sway / my bones melted inside me / And I closed my anvil eyelids / I didn’t even want to come in / And my ears rang in the room / when the drums and trumpets / played to my entrance / saying boy you look homeless / And you look useless / What are you doing here? / But useless I am not / And I can use what I’ve got / And I threw her all around / With my voice / Then she joined in with me / I swear almost killed me / And would have probably / If the kids weren’t listening Adrian played this live a few times, notably at Marriage Records Studio on the second leg of the famous Quadruple-Dip shows in Portland on July 22, 2005... the ones with Phil & Karl.

Thanks velutinous, I've updated the site to include the lyrics for "SONG." If you all see anything else I'm missing, please let me know!
