There are some weird examples of albums from earlier in a bands career appearing in place of later albums which are far superior. Milk Eyed Mender is a good example. So is Michigan by Sufjan Stevens.
Curtain Hits the Cast by Low has no business being in this list when Low have at least 3 albums that are better.

I wish I've seen her live! I generally don't like going to shows but for her (or Phil) I'd make an exception. I've heard some of her new songs on youtube and it's making me very impatient for her next album!

I have, about a year ago I saw her at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. She played through all of Ys with the Brooklyn Philharmonic and then another hour or so of music with her band, including two or so new songs. One of the best shows I've been to.
