Phil says: "These are songs that span the time from my early teenage years not knowing anything about anything, discovering K singles at The Business in Anacortes around 1992, to the era where I had been magnetically pulled so close to the K sphere that I became a participant. This music came to me from an alien world that I was thirsty to understand and be a part of, so these songs (a crazy assortment of styles!) still sound unknown and magical to me. Maybe the fact that the internet did not really exist then contributed to the mystery. There is still so much music from this time and place that has yet to be uploaded, so hopefully people finding inspiration in any of these choices will return to the physical world and follow some of the threads back into the old record shelves."
